NASA FL Track Programs at this Sebring event:

1) HIGH PERFORMANCE DRIVING EVENT GROUPS (HPDE 1-4):
HPDE Grp 1= Beginner: 
In-car instructor included with HPDE 1 entry fee.  Limited number of HPDE 1 slots available each day!  
HPDE Grp 2 = Novice "solo". 
HPDE Grp 3= Intermediate-Advanced  "solo".
HPDE Grp 4 = Highly Advanced "solo". 
HPDE Instructors- requires pre-approved NASA FL instructor application.

2) NASA-TT GROUP:  NASA Time Trial serves as the bridge between HPDE and Wheel to Wheel racing for advanced to expert level drivers in an unlimited passing environment.  Participants compete for series points and prizes for best lap time in their TT car class.   AMB timing transponder required.  TT license required. For Group 4 level drivers only.

3) Wheel to Wheel NASA RACE GROUP:  Current NASA racing license and fully prepared race car with rollcage and safety equipment as per NASA CCR required to participate.  AMB Transponder required. Click RACING for related info.  Compete for regional points & trophies.  

Sebring SCHEDULE NOTES: Track time runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a break for lunch.  HPDE 1 & HPDE 2 share the same track sessions.  HPDE 4 and TT competitors share the same "unrestricted" passing track sessions unless noted otherwise.  HPDE & TT participants receive 4 track sessions per day...20-25 min ea.  Racers receive 3 track sessions per day...#races per day yet to be determined for this event.

2) Directions to the track: Sebring International Raceway is located in central Florida less than 2 hours from Tampa, Orlando & West Palm Beach. Track is located off Highway 98, two miles east of US 27, adjacent to the Sebring Regional Airport. 
Admittance to the paddock starts at 6:30 AM ea day of the event.   There is no provision for dropping off trailers in the paddock the day prior to the event.  Paddock gates are locked for the night at 8PM Sat night with no paddock access available until 6 AM Sun AM.  No overnight security in the paddock. No overnight RV camping in the paddock.  Inquiries for overnight RV arrangements & fees outside the infield paddock should be addressed to Sebring front office in ADVANCE of the event.  RV's must be self contained. All participants, crew, family and guests are required to sign the track waiver prior to admittance to the paddock ea day.  There is no charge for admittance to the infield paddock.  Those who arrive on site after 9 AM should present a NASA membership card for admittance or inform the gate guard of the name of a person registered in the event.  Non-members should accompany a current NASA member at the time of arrival or request to be placed on the "guest list" by contacting the NASA FL registrar barbara@drivenasa.com no later than 3 days in advance of the event. 

3) Parking: Tow-rigs and trailers are to be unloaded in the paddock area behind the pit structure. Pit garages are for the use of cars registered in the event. Arrive early to obtain a garage space....first come first serve.  Participants parked in remote areas of the paddock might not hear PA announcments...park close to the pit structure to avoid this problem.  Bring what you need to store & protect personal belongings. PDC, Inc, NASA & SIR assume no responsiblity for lost or stolen items. Be prepared in the case of rain or windy conditions. Event runs rain or shine. 

4) Paddock Rules: Maximum car speed in paddock is 10 mph. Please follow one-way direction markings as shown on the paved areas. ENTER the "hot pits" from the track opening on the west side of the pit structure. EXIT the "hot pits" from the exit marked by cones on the east end of the pit structure. Use caution when re-entering the paddock after track sessions. (Parents NOTE!) No one without a valid state driver license may operate ANY mode of transportation in the paddock/pits/garage area. Skate boards, scooters without seats and in-line skates are not permitted in these areas by ANYONE. No alcoholic beverages allowed to be consumed by anyone on the track premises until track activities are concluded for the day. NO PETS are allowed. Dispose of litter in trash cans.  Do not leave old tires at the track or YOU will be billed for removal fee.  Secure all valuables.  NASA, PCD Inc and SIR will not be held responsible for lost or stolen items at the track. At the conclusion of the track activities each day, everyone must exit the infield paddock by 7:45 PM.  Gates are secured for the night at 8 PM SAT and will re-open 6:30 AM Sun morning.  OK to leave track vehicle and tow rigs in the paddock overnight Sat (at own's risk), but stow away  any items of value.

5) Proper Clothing: Crew members going beyond pit wall are required to wear long pants and enclosed shoes. HPDE drivers or anyone riding as a passenger must wear a Snell 1995 (SA 95; M95) or newer helmet, a sleeved (non-synthetic, preferably cotton) shirt, long pants in a natural fiber, and enclosed leather or natural fiber shoes. RACERS are required to upgrade clothing standards to those required as per current NASA CCR including Snell SA rated helmet years 2000 (or newer), flame resistant driver suit, driver shoes & gloves. 

6) Fuel: On site service will supply racing fuel. Hours will be announced at the Drivers Meeting. We recommend that you do NOT rely solely on this source for your fueling needs. Arrive with a full tank.  If you run out of gas while on track, your day is over! 

7) Food: Food concession will be on site for limited hours. Please support the food concession.  It is also recommended that you bring your own cooler with extra drinks and snacks since the concession will close early each day. 

8) Crew, guests & family members: Check-in and sign track waiver at guard station near the entrance. Minors must be under the supervision of an adult at all times. No one under age 18 (other than a registered driver)is allowed on the hot pit side of the pit structure including the garage stall areas. Driver entered in the event will be held responsible for the actions and conduct of their crew members and guests, and will be held liable for any damages caused by their crew members or guests.    

9) Track Damages/REPAIR /REPLACEMENT  &  CLEANUP: Damages that occur within SIR premises, whether on the road course or on SIR property, which require clean up, repair or replacement become the financial liability of the driver found at fault for causing the damage.  Damages can include replacement or repair of items such as tire packs, armco, railings, fencing, soft walls, concrete barrier blocks etc. and cleanups that require bags of oil dry.  Payment to PDC, Inc. is due immediately upon receipt of billing statement.  (Note: Track damages that require schedule delays and long track cleanups occur rarely, but incidents of this type CAN happen.  Know your limits and drive appropriately for current track conditions to help us avoid this situation.)

10) Parade laps: (held for the benefit of kids, family & friends). No charge. Low speed track tour (2 laps) behind a pace car. No passing. Seatbelts for all passengers. No helmets. Family car, SUV etc ok. No motorcycles. Drivers in the tour MUST be registered in the event with Driver Wrist Band. Proper conduct is expected and speeds are not to exceed 55 MPH on straights. Stage on pit lane approx 5 min in advance of start time on schedule.  Late arrivals will be turned away after tour has started.   

11) Passenger registration: (HPDE 2 & HPDE 3 solo drivers) will occur on the day of the event starting 7:30 AM. PLEASE register all passengers by 11 AM. Age 18 & older. Snell 95 or newer helmet & proper clothing for the course required. Sorry..loaner helmets are not available. Passenger will obtain Wrist Band for admittance to the course after signing release and paying a $30 registration fee. NASA holds the driver solely responsible for the safety of their passenger.  Improper conduct while driving with a passenger will result in the loss of passenger priviledges.

12) Your participation in this event constitutes your understanding and acceptance of the rules, requirements and policies set by P.D.C., Inc. and of National Auto Sport Association (NASA) in accordance with the current NASA Club Codes and Regulation rule book (CCR).  The CCR can be downloaded at www.nasaproracing.com for no charge.

13) NASA Cancellation Policies:
HPDE:
 Refund less $30 processing fee, with at least 1 week notice in advance of the event, otherwise no refund or credit.  NO exceptions. (No partial credit due to mechanical failure on site..please prepare your car carefully.)
RACE GROUPS: Refund less $30 procesing fee provided that you notify NASA FL within 5 days following the missed event.  No partial refund/credit allowed for mechanical failure or other any other reason.  Once the car goes on track all fees are non-refundable.

1. You should receive an immediate e-mail purchase receipt from NASA systems after completing your online registration. 
2.  Sprint racers & HPDE instructors will be sent their additional event info and confirmation materials from NASA FL by E-MAIL only. 
3. HPDE & TT participants will be sent an email from the NASA FL registrar approx 2weeks to 10 days in advance of the event to confirm their car number and run group.  Additional event info will be sent by regular mail in a packet that includes a HPDE tech form, event schedule, track map and HPDE sticker for their car.  Packets are mailed starting 2 weeks prior to the event. Please contact us if you do not receive your packet at least 7 days in advance of the event.
4. To avoid delays at the track, contact us no later than 3 days in advance of the event if you need to make last minute changes to you car information, car number or run group.
5.  Check this page for last minute news and updates before leaving for the event.
6. See NASA "Cancellation policies" for HPDE and racers above (item 13).  We are firm on these policies.
