Registration Procedures and Policies for NASA FL Region
Your participation constitutes your acceptance of the following policies of PDC, Inc., the Florida Chapter of NASA
Membership
A current membership with National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is required to participate in any event held by PDC Inc, the Florida Chapter of NASA. This includes all drivers, racers, instructors and officials. Join or renew NASA online at www.nasaproracing.com.

Event Entry
Event registration opens approximately 6-8 weeks prior to each event weekend. Online registration is available with payment by credit card.
There are a limited number of HPDE slots per event. HPDE 1 student slots tend to fill quickly. Entry fees go up starting 7 days in advance of the event.Add $50 late fee for any registration accepted starting 3 days in advance of the event or at the track.

Event Entry Fees
Entrants can register for HPDE or racing activities either 1 day or 2 days each weekend. A discounted entry fee is offered for the 2-day package for all groups except HPDE 1. Qualified drivers may register for both HPDE and racing during the same weekend, providing that full entry fee is paid for both HPDE and racing. HPDE drivers may register for more than one HPDE group providing they meet participation requirements and a full entry fee is paid for each HPDE group entered.

An additional car can be registered in the same HPDE track sessions by a registered HPDE driver without additional fee.

2 HPDE drivers sharing one vehicle the same event:  Each driver should register for one day only, or each driver should sign up for different HPDE  group provided each driver is qualified for the appropriate groups and a full entry fee is paid for each entry.  2 drivers sharing one car in the same HPDE group on the same day is not an option.

Racer Requirements
A current NASA competition license and up to date medical/physical must be on file with NASA before registering for any race event. In addition, driver must verify that their race car meets the eligiblity requirements for race safety and tech as per the NASA CCR. Racer should direct any questions regarding annual tech inspection requirements or placement in the proper race class to the Chief of Tech of the FL Region Racing Division.

HPDE Group Placement
Drivers signing up for a higher HPDE group than what they are qualified for is a serious matter that can create an endangerment to themselves as well as other drivers. If a driver intentionally misrepresents his or her past driving history in order to register for a higher group, that driver may be subject to penalties including suspension for up to one year and forfeiture of their NASA membership.

HPDE Cancellation Policy
Full refund or credit less $30 processing fee, with at least 1 week notice, otherwise no refund/credit. No exceptions.

Racer Cancellation Policy
Entry fee is fully refundable providing racer registered at least 12 days in advance of the event and racer requests refund through FL Region within 5 days following the missed event. Refund applies only if the race car never touches the track surface! No partical refunds or credits.
Special events including "Competition Licensing Schools" will have their own cancellation/refund policies disclosed at the time of event registration.

Driver Substitution
No driver substitution for a pre-paid entry will be accepted for any reason. Each driver must be properly registered and pay the appropriate entry fees that are due at the time the registration is submitted.

Late Arrival Penalties
Drivers who arrive late delay the start of the event. Any driver who is unable to complete their driver check-in and tech inspection before the start of the Drivers Meeting will be fined $25. Any driver who arrives on site after the Drivers Meeting has concluded are LATE. Late drivers must have a valid excuse for the late arrival and will be allowed to participate only if they have never been late before. 

Track Damage
Any and all damages or cleanup, caused by a driver as a result of actions on the track or anywhere within the track facility, become the financial responsibility of the driver. Driver will also be held responsible for damages caused by the actions of their guests or crewmembers. Damage repair and/or clean up costs will be billed to the offending driver and reimbursement to PDC, Inc. will be due immediately upon receipt of a written invoice.

Wet Weather Policy
ALL HPDE & RACING Events will run RAIN or SHINE! Rainy conditions may require HPDE schedule revisions including combining some HPDE track groups. Racers should always be prepared for wet weather racing conditions with proper rain tires and wet weather equipment.
"Hurricane Policy" In the case of potential hurricane situation, registered drivers should monitor the home page of the FL Region web site for updates. The decision to cancel track activities due to an official hurricane warning is at the descretion of the management of the hosting track. If a re-schedule date is necessary, all entry fees will be transferred to the new date. No refunds.

FL Region 13/13 Policy:
Driver found to be at fault for causing any serious track incident or track damage due to over-driving or improper conduct on the course will be placed on probation for up to 13 months. If a 2nd violation occurs during the probation period, driving priviledges with PDC, Inc. will be suspended for up to 13 months from the date of the 2nd incident.

HPDE Passengers
Non-enrolled passengers (age 18 or over) can be registered at the track to ride along with drivers registered for either HPDE Groups 2 or 3  for a fee of $30 per passenger.  Passengers must arrive on site and complete registration no later than 11 AM. Passenger fee is non-refundable.
